Lam Fong 南方饼家
Strategically located at a prominent corner lot facing both Ipoh’s famous bean sprout chicken restaurants (老黄 and 安记芽菜鸡), it is a perfect spot for tourists to grab their famed pastries like Kaya Puff (加央角) as souvenirs.

Ching Han Guan 鍾漢元
Founded in Ipoh in 1949, CHG started by making popular traditional Teochew wedding pastries such as Soft Candy, Peanut Candy, Lard Biscuits, etc. Over the years, Cantonese and Western biscuits such as ‘Tau Sah Piah’, Egg Cookies, and Cashew Nut Cookies have been added to their offerings.

Guan Heong 源香饼舗
Guan Heong is the first biscuit shop in Ipoh town since 1918 and awarded with Top 50 World Street Food Award 2017 with its Meat Floss Biscuit. Guan Heong created the hype for Hawaiian biscuits, which introduced the combination of Eastern and Western flavours in the recipe.

Master Looi 雷师傅饼家
Founded in 1960, being through this half of century, Master Looi manage to master high-level manufacturing confectionery skills. Their signature products include Wife’s Biscuit (老婆饼), Chicken Biscuit (鸡仔饼), Sesame Cookies (芝麻饼), and Walnut Cookies (合桃酥).

Sin Eng Heong 新荣香
Founded in 1961, Sin Eng Heong is one of the oldest biscuit shops in Ipoh. Many would consider a visit to Ipoh incomplete without dropping by Sin Eng Heong to get a box of their legendary Kaya Puff. This staple snack is also more fondly known as Kaya Kok by the locals.

Lum Kei 龍祺餅家
Started in 1946 as a small family business, Lum Kei gained popularity in the 70s for its wedding cakes in Ipoh. Today, Lum Kei is still standing strong with more selections of Chinese pastries.

Sin Weng Fai 新荣辉花生糖饼家
Sin Weng Fai’s founder has been making its signature Peanut Candy and Kaya Puffs for more than 50 years. Their storefront was opened in 2016 and has since been swamped by locals and tourists.

Ming Yue 明裕食品
Similar to Sin Weng Fai, Ming Yue is also famed for its Peanut Candy which is freshly made every day, therefore limited quantities are available. Their mooncake is also famous for those who live in Ipoh.
